After Jaci's memorial service, we wanted to spend more time with her wonderful family, but as it was a work day, we were unable to continue being with them right after the service. I suggested an impromptu dinner the upcoming weekend at my home. It was a potluck of Venezuelan, Texan, Puerto Rican, and Louisiana food. There was music, cooking, story telling, and most importantly a time to laugh and get to know the esteemed Prospert family, Ale (Jaci's fiancee), and the Negrons. This was one of the most beautiful nights of my life and a perfect way to honor Jaci.
